SEO is a huge area which is forever changing. Using a developer who is experienced will put your web site ahead of your competition as not many NZ developers know how to optimise web pages well. The time SEO takes is usually dependant on your budget (i.e. the $ value you may make from the SEO investment).

In the end, Google success comes down to quality links from real websites, good content, and good syndication networks be they automated or human. SEO is not free. It can take weeks and even months or years to see the fruit of your labour and there are no guarantees. It is however potentially the most rewarding online marketing effort you can make for your business.
